About a month ago, Lon Naylor was interviewed by James Maduk, the key principle of the blog titled WPBlogSupport.com.

James Maduk interview with Lon Naylor

In his own words, he describes the focus of this informative dialogue:

Need to create products for your WordPress Site?  How about “How-To” guides taken directly from your desktop or phone screen?

If a Picture’s worth a thousand words a Camtasia Studio Screencast is worth a million.

Everything you need to learn about Camtasia Studio by TechSmith and creating great WordPress video content can be found at Lon Naylor’s and Michelle Schoen’s http://learncamtasia.com .

. . . I spent a full 40 minutes on the phone with Lon who specializes in video marketing using Camtasia screencast software and is regarded as one of the top experts in this field by some of the most famous names in Internet Marketing today.

His successful ScreencastStudios.com membership site and products set the standard for high quality, highly effective sales and marketing videos using Camtasia, PowerPoint(R) and other top tools. His goal is to “Rid the world of lousy Camtasia marketing videos.”

We thank Lon Naylor for his permission to repurpose this interview that describes his journey with blogs and screencast.

12- Reviews of Audello from 2 podcasters and 1 screencaster

Product platforms for podcasting and content creation and publishing have been around for a while. Case in point is the old Podomatic.com site, where a template-driven or wizard-like process allowed a novice user to record audio content, then produce and publish a podcast episode very easily — although there were drawbacks later with portability and management. So these all-in-one platforms are not a new idea, as they originally have been available since 2007.

In this episode, we focus on reviews and opinions from two podcasters and a screencaster about early experiences with the newly available Podcasting platform called Audello.

The podcasters involved are:

(1) Dave Jackson from www.SchoolOfPodcasting.com, who discussed his negative audello experiences, and from whom we have several audio clips, as well as a link to a video which he published on YouTube:

(2) Daniel J Lewis from www.TheAudacityToPodcast.com, who delivered a more objective review (which he called “honest”) from his experiences:

Lon Naylor on CoachZing

In this episode, we have a repurposed interview — as it is originally published by CoachZing.com. The reason why we deliver it in entirety and unedited as the final mp3 file published by CoachZing is that the person being interviewed is Lon Naylor, who is known as “Mr. Learn Camtasia” or “The Camtasia Guy.”

07- Lon Naylor investigates pre-released Podcasting Platform Audello

In this renewed interest (we call it a “second boom”) of Podcasting, many content creators are acquiring the skills to leverage their portfolios and include podcasts into their mix.

Lon Naylor, who is known as “The Learn Camtasia Guy”, and who also has key web sites of ScreencastStudios.com and ScreencastProfits.com,  is also pursuing a direction to teach the screencast community about podcasting — especially with what appears to be an exciting platform to make podcasting simple and easy (although it is still in pre-release stage at the time of this post). The platform is Audello, and it is discussed and demonstrated (as much as can be) by Lon in this video clip that is being repurposed from his premium Learn Camtasia weekly coaching call program. For more information and to see the video clip, you can go to the links given, below.

Lon Naylor- mobile video strategies for screencastersAs you will hear in this 12-minute podcast episode, the AUDIO to the video clip is included, which has Lon discussing the SKILLS IN SCREENCASTS AND PODCASTS podcast and program with Fred Castaneda (the host of The Struggling Entrepreneur and Podcast Reporter audio podcasts). The audio episode also highlights how you can understand the importance and excitement of this new platform, especially if you are a screencaster.
